Apac Repair Strategist

**Service > Global Service Supply Chain > Repair Development** Global Repair oversees product repair of turbine components, including spare parts, for the global service of Vestas's and non-Vestas wind turbines in close cooperation with the Strategic Business Units (SBUs). Repairing spare parts brings significant benefits to the environment and business in terms of CO2 reduction, savings, and improved availability of parts. With a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction, we have established ourselves as the world's largest repair partner for minor and significant wind industry components. **Responsibilities** - To ensure availability of repaired components that are needed for Vestas Service contracts, mainly in the Asia-Pacific Region. - Act as a key point of contact towards our Planning department, with the ambition of securing alignment and thus enabling a well functioning, scalable supply. - Ability to understand technology, market players and geographical requirements will be key. - Repair operating processes standardization. - Financial discipline in outsourced repair operations in APAC. - To increase repaired components regional brochure and volumes. - Primary tasks will be within supplier development and operating model. - To lead the development strategy with external repair suppliers. - To Coordinate with internal repair-shops, Engineering, supply-chain, and Procurement stakeholders. - To Identify opportunities based on service needs, technical and commercial. - To ensure operational and quality performance on the repairs at the vendors. - To qualify potential repair suppliers (RPAP) in coordination with Procurement and SQD. - To drive buying activities with Buying team by defining processes and following-up on Vendor's performance. - To support Global repair strategy with the implementation of the regional/local repair loop footprint. - To lead the alignment with our SIOP (Planning) team on a global level. **Qualifications** - Master Degree in Business /Economics/ Engineering with minimum 3+ years of relevant expereince. - Experience on supplier management and Procurement and/or Supply Chain Planning. - Experience working with SAP. - Experience on Logistics. - Solid communication skills - Fluent in English is needed. **Competencies** - Can do attitude and good at execution. - Tenacity and drive to seek new business and meet or exceed targets. - Interpersonal skills for building and developing relationships with stakeholders. - Written and verbal communication skills - needed for communicating with a range of people, both internally and externally - Teamworking skills and a collaborative approach to work. - Decision-making skills. - The ability to multitask and prioritize your workload. - The ability to think strategically and implement strategic initiatives - A flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to a growing, ever-changing environment. - Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch. **What We offer** **Additional Information** The work location is in Chennai, India. **BEWARE - RECRUITMENT FRAUD** **DEIB Statement** At Vestas, we recognize the value of diversity, equity, and inclusion in driving innovation and success.
