**Job Title: Logistics Coordinator**

**Job Summary**: A logistics professional who can efficiently oversee operations at both local and international levels. The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the movement of goods and materials throughout the supply chain to ensure timely and efficient delivery. The role requires a keen ability to manage logístical activities, ensuring smooth coordination and compliance across all regions.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Supply Chain Management**:

- Coordinate and manage the transportation and delivery of goods from suppliers to customers.
- Oversee inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet demand without overstocking.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and address any delays or issues.

2. **Vendor and Carrier Relations**:

- Build and maintain relationships with vendors, carriers, and other logistics partners.
- Negotiate contracts and rates with carriers and suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Evaluate carrier performance and manage any issues related to service quality.

3. **Documentation and Compliance**:

- Ensure all shipments are properly documented and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Handle import/export documentation and ensure compliance with international trade regulations.

4. **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment efforts to avoid stockouts and excess inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Implement inventory control measures to optimize storage and reduce costs.

5. **Operational Efficiency**:

- Analyze logistics operations and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and procedures to streamline processes.
- Utilize logistics software and tools to track shipments, manage inventory, and generate report.

6. **Customer Service**:

- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to shipments and deliveries.
- Provide accurate and timely updates to customers regarding their orders and shipments.
- Work closely with customer service teams to ensure a high level of satisfaction.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Proven 2 to 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a similar role.
- Should have worked on SOP’s
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
