**Job Summary**:
The Fitter is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems at the water treatment plant. This includes mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems integral to the operation of water purification, filtration, and distribution. The role ensures the plant operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Installation & Assembly**:

- Install and assemble pumps, valves, piping systems, tanks, filters, and other equipment used in water treatment processes.
- Modify and fabricate parts and components as needed.
- **Maintenance & Repairs**:

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in pumps, motors, valves, and control panels.
- Repair or replace defective parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
- **System Monitoring**:

- Inspect mechanical systems regularly to identify signs of wear or potential failures.
- Ensure equipment is operating within required specifications and standards.
- **Record Keeping & Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate logs of work performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
- Report any hazards, malfunctions, or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
- **Health, Safety & Compliance**:

- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards and environmental regulations.
- Participate in safety training and emergency response drills.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Trade certification or equivalent qualification in Fitting, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in industrial fitting, preferably within a water treatment or utility environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pumps, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and under varying weather conditions.
- Basic computer skills for maintenance software/logs (preferred).

**Working Conditions**:

- Work is primarily performed in an industrial environment, both indoors and outdoors.
- May involve shift work, weekend duties, or on-call responsibilities.
- Exposure to noise, chemicals, and moving machinery.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
