**About the role**

The Idox Corporate IT Support Team supports the business by designing, building, administering and maintaining the infrastructure for the companies’ networks and back-office systems. It is a relatively small team and aims to “work smarter, not harder”, and are therefore frequently re-evaluating latest technologies and ideas and implementing these where they fit with business requirements. New ways of thinking and working are part of the role, as is maintaining constructive relationships with colleagues across the organisation. You will be a core member of this friendly team, supporting day-to-day operations of the environments and associated systems with particular focus on managing the software estate compliance, monitoring and resolving software vulnerabilities, device compliance and also dealing with IT related requests raised by staff.

Planned growth for the Idox Group means that there is a stream of interesting projects, in addition to daily workflow, related to introduction of new technologies and environments.

We are looking for a Systems Administrator who preferably has experience working with mission critical systems, within a busy private and public cloud environment. Joining our team, you will be shaping and supporting the core infrastructure alongside our emerging DevOps technology and processes. In return gaining experience and improving knowledge in a variety of technologies including Cloud services, Compliance and Security, Virtualisation technologies.

**Key responsibilities**:
**As part of the Corporate IT Support team, the post-holder’s duties will include**:

- Monitoring of software compliance using vulnerability management tools and ensuring installed software is at a known standard in line with our Cyber Essentials, ISO9001 and PCI certifications
- The installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems and software
- Development and administration of Mobile Device Management and desktop management systems (Intune, Endpoint Manager)
- Routine troubleshooting of desktop and server software
- Processing assigned requests, interacting with the IT Helpdesk ticketing system
- Monitoring support systems: network monitoring, SIEM, Syslog, MDM, vulnerability management, to ensure environments are properly supported
- Monitoring and improving system and network security
- Keeping up to date with industry changes, security, bug reports
- Analysis and diagnosis of outages and raised issues
- Creating and maintaining process documentation
- Responsible for maintaining and improving your own skills
- Provide occasional out of hours support when required
- Adhere to Idox Information Security & Management System Policies.

**To be successful, you will need to bring**:

- At least 2 years of experience working in a customer facing IT support role
- Good English language communication skills are essential
- Installation and configuration of Windows desktop and server OS
- Experience troubleshooting Windows and MacOS desktop environments
- Experience of patching and updating critical software to a given standard
- Experience of mobile device management concepts and systems
- Security & vulnerability systems monitoring and administration
- Anti-virus and other software security troubleshooting and problem resolution
- An understanding of basic networking principles, protocols and utilities
- A self-starter, able to see the bigger picture, and identify solutions to problems
- Comfortable working alongside a geographically diverse, multi skilled team, and supporting a 24/7 environment

**Additional desirable qualities**:

- MacOS centralised management (Jamf or Kandji)
- Any experience with Citrix ADC, Citrix Virtual Apps
- Administering Microsoft Azure, InTune and M365
- Knowledge of creating and testing security and compliance policies
