SAP BASIS Consultant Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP BASIS Consultant to manage the technical infrastructure of our SAP landscape. This is a critical role that involves overseeing the administration, monitoring, and performance tuning of SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor SAP environments to ensure optimal system performance and availability.
  • Perform installations, upgrades, patches, and support package applications for SAP systems.
  • Oversee system migrations and system copies across development, QA, and production environments.
  • Conduct system health checks and implement performance tuning measures to improve system efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve system errors in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with functional, technical, and infrastructure teams for integrated SAP operations.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation and ensure compliance with internal and external audits.
  • Support backup and recovery strategies, user administration, and transport management processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3–7 years of experience as an SAP BASIS Consultant in a complex SAP environment.
