**Details Job Description & Responsibilities**

Develop and optimize database schemas, tables, indexes, and storage strategies for relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.

Evaluate and select appropriate database technologies to meet business and technical requirements (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.).

Ensure seamless integration of databases across distributed systems and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in database systems through indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.

Analyze and troubleshoot database issues such as slow queries, connection problems, and resource contention.

Implement and enforce database security protocols, ensuring data privacy, encryption, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Define user roles, permissions, and access controls for sensitive and critical data.

Conduct regular database audits and ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.

Develop high-availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) architectures to support business continuity.

Implement replication, clustering, and failover mechanisms to ensure database availability and minimize downtime.

Implement and manage tools for monitoring database performance and health (e.g., Prometheus, Datadog).

Automate routine database maintenance tasks such as backups, patching, and performance tuning using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).

**Primary Skills**

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

7+ years of experience in database architecture, administration, or design.

Proven track record of architecting complex, high-performance databases in both relational and non-relational systems.

Expertise with multiple database platforms (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.).

Hands-on experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Google Cloud SQL, Azure Database).

Proficient in database design, modeling, and optimization.

Experience with SQL query optimization, performance tuning, and indexing.

Proficient in database management tools and automation frameworks.

**Secondary Skills(If Any)**

Familiar with cloud-based databases, distributed systems, and microservices architecture.

Knowledge of database security best practices, including encryption and role-based access control.

Experience with NoSQL databases and big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.

Experience with data warehousing solutions like Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery.

Familiarity with DevOps practices and database CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.

**Certifications Required(If Any)**

Certification in database technologies (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional, AWS Certified Database Specialty).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹90,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

- Performance bonus
