Role Description:
Within the team, the product strategy team is responsible for representing the investment team in driving business strategy, product pipeline and client engagements as a specialist for strategies managed by the team. The associate will be responsible for the development, preparation and maintenance of investment content, as well as product and market-related materials for the platform. The associate will assist with the preparation of materials for client meetings used for fundraising, including materials for pitches, due diligence meetings, portfolio reviews, and market updates. The associate is expected to work closely with portfolio managers, credit analysts, senior product strategists and global sales on a daily basis, and will be essential to service a wide range of requests associated with our markets, investments and products. Through this role, the associate will over time gain familiarity with the markets, our strategies and investment process through participation in investment team meetings and through client meetings with portfolio managers and / or senior product strategists.

As the Associate progress in the role, they are expected to ultimately evolve to become a seasoned investment professional representing the investment team in internal partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support the strategic growth of the APAC Fixed Income team
- Suport senior team members and sales channels by disseminating information and data regarding our Funds and products and answer questions pertaining to broader markets
- Learn about fixed income markets, our investment strategies and how each strategy is competitive in the market
- Partner with sales, distribution and marketing teams to assist in fund raising efforts and asset retention across the platform
- Maintain marketing materials for all strategies and product offerings
- Write market/investment commentaries for investors, shareholders, current clients and prospects
- Gather competitive data, run analytics versus our competitors, and draft competitive positioning points for our strategies
- Oversee, coordinate and/or participate in updating investor performance reporting
- Assist with internal projects focused on presenting senior management with business, market and ad hoc updates

Skills/Qualifications:

- 4+ years of relevant experience
- Strong academic background with a proven ability to synthesize complex topics in an unstructured fashion
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task quickly and efficiently
- Attention to detail and a sense of urgency around deadlines
- Strong communication, writing, and presentation skills
- Self-starter who can work effectively on their own as well as with a team, while being resourceful and able to work with other groups to obtain the information necessary to complete tasks
- Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
- Proven technical skills an advantage
