**Job Summary**:
The Storekeeper is responsible for managing construction site inventory, ensuring proper receipt, storage, and issuance of materials, tools, and equipment. The role requires maintaining accurate stock records, preventing losses, and ensuring smooth material flow for site operations.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Inventory Management

Receive, inspect, and store materials, tools, and equipment as per site requirements.

Maintain an accurate inventory record of all materials received and issued.

Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.

Ensure proper labeling and organization of stock for easy access.

Material Handling & Issuance

Issue materials as per requisition slips from engineers and supervisors.

Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) method is followed for material usage.

Keep track of fast-moving and slow-moving materials.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain daily records of stock movement and prepare periodic reports.

Generate stock level reports and notify management of low-stock items.

Ensure all records are updated.

Quality & Safety Compliance

Verify material quality and quantity against delivery notes and purchase orders.

Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent material damage or wastage.

Follow safety guidelines in handling and storing hazardous materials.

Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with procurement and project teams for timely material availability.

Work closely with suppliers and transporters to ensure smooth deliveries.

Address any material shortages or surplus concerns proactively.

Site Maintenance & Housekeeping

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the storage area.

Ensure secure storage to prevent theft, loss, or damage.

Dispose of scrap materials and maintain waste records.

**Qualifications & Skills**:
High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma in Storekeeping or Logistics preferred).

4+ years of experience in storekeeping, preferably in construction.

Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and equipment.

Familiarity with inventory management.

Good organizational and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

**Physical & Work Conditions**:
Requires working in an outdoor/site environment.

Involves lifting and moving materials occasionally.

Requires adherence to site safety guidelines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
