Jr. Paginator

**Job Overview**:
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Junior Paginator to join our publishing team. In this role, you will assist in the creation and formatting of book layouts, journals, and magazines using Adobe InDesign. You will support the senior design team by working on various layout tasks, ensuring adherence to publishing standards, and contributing to the overall design process. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in creating and formatting layouts for books, journals, and magazines using Adobe InDesign.
- Work with templates provided by the senior design team, ensuring consistency across projects.
- Support the production team in formatting and typesetting manuscripts, including Fiction, Non-Fiction, and K-12 content.
- Implement design changes based on feedback from authors, editors, and the design team.
- Assist in maintaining and updating InDesign templates for various book formats.
- Collaborate with editorial and design teams to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Perform quality checks on paginated materials to ensure accuracy and visual consistency.
- Follow established design and typography guidelines to maintain industry standards.
- Assist in preparing files for print production, ensuring they meet required specifications.
- Stay up-to-date with basic trends in pagination, design, and publishing tools.

**Qualifications**:

- 1+ years of experience in pagination and layout design, specifically using Adobe InDesign.
- Basic understanding of design principles, typography, and layout aesthetics.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all work.
- Ability to follow design guidelines and templates to create professional layouts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an eagerness to learn from more experienced team members.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
