Position Overview: The Electronic Data Processor (EDP) with Desktop Publishing (DTP) operations is responsible for

handling data processing tasks, including data entry, report generation, and system maintenance, as well as assisting

with the design and preparation of question papers and promotional materials. This role ensures both data accuracy

and the creation of professional-quality educational and promotional materials that support the institution’s

operations.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Entry and Management:

- Input, verify, and update data in electronic systems used by the institution.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data, regularly updating as necessary.
- Maintain databases related to student information, examination data, and academic performance.

2. DTP Operations:

- Question Paper Preparation:
▪ Format, design, and organize question papers for NEET, JEE, and other academic exams.

▪ Collaborate with academic staff to ensure accurate and well-structured exam documents.

▪ Maintain and update question paper banks for future use.
- Poster, Brochure, and Event Design:
▪ Design posters, brochures, banners, and other promotional materials for institutional events

and marketing.

▪ Utilize DTP software such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, CorelDRAW, or similar for creative

designs.
- Document Layout and Formatting:
▪ Ensure consistent formatting for presentations, reports, and other institutional documents.

3. Data Retrieval and Reporting:

- Retrieve and provide data as needed by academic and administrative teams.
- Generate reports from institutional systems to support academic planning and decision-making.
- Ensure timely delivery of data reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Collaborate with the IT department to resolve any data system issues.
- Ensure the optimal functioning of data and DTP systems.

5. Data Quality Assurance:

- Conduct regular data audits to maintain integrity and accuracy.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to resolve any discrepancies or inconsistencies in data.

6. Confidentiality and Data Security:

- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive data, including examination and student records.
- Adhere to the institution’s data privacy and security protocols.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proficiency in data processing tools such as MS Excel and institutional databases (ERP).
- Expertise in DTP software (e.g., Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, CorelDRAW).
- High attention to detail in both data processing and design tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creativity in poster and document design with a professional approach to layouts.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Educational Requirements:

- A diploma or degree in information technology, computer science, graphic design, or related fields.
- Certifications in desktop publishing, graphic design, or relevant technical training is an advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹31,000.00 per month

Schedule:
