**Job Description**:
Job Opportunity: Technical Application Support Specialist
**Position Type**: Full-time

**Type of Hire**: Experienced (relevant combination of work and education)

**Education Desired**: Associate's Degree

**Travel Percentage**: 5 - 10%

What You Will Do:

- Provide technical support for a software production processing environment.
- Assist programming staff in analyzing software performance and resource consumption.
- Consult with internal users to guide them on software capabilities and usage.
- Collaborate with development teams in project requirements, system design, and delivery.
- Verify technical specifications for development projects.

What You Bring:

- Good knowledge of Unix commands and shell scripting.
- Experience with Oracle and SQLPLUS.
- Familiarity with common networking practices.
- Knowledge of ITIL production support best practices.
- Flexibility and availability to work in rotational shifts and weekends.
