**The Opportunity**

As a SharePoint Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex SharePoint solutions that align with business needs. You will lead the transformation of design and vision into working products, and enhance functionalities of SharePoint-based solutions. You will contribute to the development of a cutting-edge platform that empowers our organization's digital capabilities for Patients and Healthcare Professionals.

**Responsibilities**
- Use an analytical approach and independent judgment to resolve complex technical challenges and develop innovative solutions that consistently deliver quality IT solutions.
- Design and architect SharePoint solutions that align with business needs. Create information architecture, site structures, and workflows. Decide on the appropriate use of SharePoint features and capabilities.
- Lead the development of custom solutions using SharePoint technologies, including SharePoint Designer, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), and Visual Studio. Customize SharePoint sites and pages using web parts, lists, and libraries.
- Establish and educate the team about SharePoint development patterns and best practices to ensure high-quality and maintainable code.
- Customize SharePoint sites and pages using CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies to enhance the user experience and meet specific design requirements.
- Develop and implement workflows using SharePoint Designer or Microsoft Power Automate (formerly known as Flow) to automate business processes and approvals.
- Collaborate with other team members to implement feedback on pull request reviews.
- Continuously collaborate with Product Owner to demo developed functionality and validate against specified requirements.
- Ensure high performance for global users through performance tests and tuning.
- Collaborate with agile team members to craft clear user stories and continuously deliver product increments.
- Estimate work based on user stories and functional requirements or wireframes.
- Contribute to Takeda’s mission by leading the development and adoption of solutions that deliver business outcomes and drive innovation.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems analysis, product management or a related study, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience developing and administering software built on top of SharePoint & Office365.
- Expert knowledge of key SharePoint relevant programming languages and frameworks: C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, SharePoint Framework (SPFx), HTML/CSS.
- Solid Power Platform development experience.
- Hands-on experience developing complex solutions against relational databases.
- Experience with SharePoint Online and Office 365.
- Knowledge of SharePoint migration tools and techniques.
- Advanced understanding of SharePoint security and compliance features.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services.
- Leadership and mentoring skills to guide junior developers and team members.
- Project management skills, especially in agile and DevOps environments.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex SharePoint issues.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts.
- Self-starter with a passion for taking ownership of your work and delivering outcomes.
- Ability to continuously enhance own skills.
- Strong communication skills, a team player with a 'winning as a team' attitude.
- Ability to write and speak in the English language.
- Practice efficient time management and coordinate tasks, working in an international environment.
