**Job Title**: Admissions Counselor / Senior Admissions Counselor

**Job Overview**:
L V Prasad College of Media Studies is seeking an Admissions Counselor to engage with prospective students, provide guidance on course selection, and support the enrollment process. This role requires a proactive approach to student counseling and a strong focus on customer service.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Counsel and advise students on available courses and career paths, both in-person and remotely.
- Conduct regular follow-ups on leads and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets related to inquiries, enrollments, and conversion rates.
- Utilize CRM and sales automation tools to manage student data, track interactions, and gain sales insights.
- Collaborate with the administrative and marketing teams to enhance lead generation and support the enrollment process.
- Provide mentorship to junior counselors and help in developing effective counseling techniques.
- Conduct career counseling sessions, offering resources and materials related to students’ career interests.

**Requirements and Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in admissions counseling, sales, or customer service, ideally within the education sector.
- Proficiency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an interest in sales and student counseling.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, EdTech platforms, and sales automation tools is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

**Desired Skills**:

- Strong active listening skills and empathy to understand students’ aspirations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with the college admissions process and career counseling is advantageous.

**Expected Deliverables and KPIs**:

- Make 60-80 connected calls per day with an average talk time of 2-3 hours.
- Meet weekly revenue and conversion targets.
- Consistently update and manage student data in CRM for reporting purposes.
