Billing - Charge Posting

Shift

Day Shift (07:30AM to 05:00 PM)

Job function
- Enter / Validate Charges accurately to collect claims money at first instance.
- Create/validate patient’s demographics in PMS. Demographics includes Patients Name, DOB, Address, Phone numbers, Insurance details etc
- Enter/validate ICD and CPT’s in PMS within 24 hours of turnaround time of 24 hours of receipt of documents.
- Create tasks to client/ corresponding departments as and when required.
- Clear all edits which pops up while scrubbing charges.
- Follow all client specific updates and billing guidelines published in-order to send clean claim.
- Work on the Charge Posting and exception reports on daily basis for their own work before end of the day.
- Clean all errors before claims team bills those claims out to Insurance companies with set quality benchmark i.e. 98.5%.
- Work on X team assignments as and when required.
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and keep Patients PHI intact
- Perform additional projects and job duties as assigned

Education

Graduate in any stream

Training/Work experience

Billing training and/or 1 year of industry experience in the relevant function

Other specifications

Good English communication (reading, writing)

Understanding of US healthcare, HIPAA

Good at Operating Computer - software and MS office

Capable of task execution based on work instructions

**Salary**: ₹8,086.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
