Executive PR:
Should have PG / Master degree in Marketing / PR / Communication, preferable having undergone formal training in Public Relations and Protocol Services. Person should have minimum 8-10 years of experience of working as a Public Relations / Manager in large organisation including Public Sector undertakings. Good command of written and spoken English beside knowledge of local language like Marathi, Hindi and Gujarati is preferable. Knowledge of a foreign language like French and Spanish would be an added advantage.

**Scope of responsibilities**:

- Public Relations Activities - Press and Visual Media, Parents and Guardian, CEOs, VIPs, Guest Speakers.
- Strong existing network in print media and digital media
- Liaison activities - State and Central government, Professional bodies, Academic Institutions and Universities in India and Abroad.
- Social Responsibilities: To plan and help implementing the activities and the programmes of social importance, disseminating information in the timely manner and press and visual media coverage etc.
- Support to Curricular and Extra Curricular Activities - To extend PR and Publicity support to all the activities conducted under the aegis of the Students’ Council across all campuses and also support to various seminars, conferences, convocations etc. of the University.
- Coordinating Functions: To coordinate on behalf of NMIMS University with the parent body SVKM Trust and its institutions from time to time.
- Responsibilities under Right to Information Act 2005: Will be responsible for discharging the responsibilities developing under the provisions of Right to information Act. Will function as information Officer under the relevant provisions of the Right to Information Act-2005
- Any other matter as may be assigned by the VC / PVC / Director from time to time.
