**Job Description**:
The Administrative Assistant works closely and proactively with the Private Equity India team and other teams in Mumbai office to provide day-to-day administrative support, including coordinating all expenses and travel arrangements.
- Role-specific Accountabilities_
- Provides full administrative support including handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, mail, faxes, maintenance of filing system, photocopying, printing, etc.
- Maintains supply of stationary and general office supplies for the team
- Responsible for coordinating meetings including conference room management and catering services for the team
- Manages team specific data and has the ability to organise data systematically
- Ensures team members are prepared for all meetings with material they require and other general support
- Manages the calendar, reporting, appointments, presentations, action items and other administrative needs of the team and coordinates with third advisors, investee companies and third parties to set up meetings.
- Assists with the travel and expense reporting
- Handles highly sensitive and confidential matters relating to the daily activity of the department and/or organization
- Manages administrative matters including vendor invoice management, execution of contracts with vendors and maintaining records thereof.
- Works cross functionally with other regional teams and departments to ensure we remain aligned with our vision, goals and value
- Accommodates and completes staff requests within the deadlines or on a timely basis
- Responsible for back up reception duties
- Other duties and projects as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- 10 years of post-tertiary education work experience, including recent experience with a global investment bank or strategy consulting firms for no less than 3 years. Full time experience preferred
- Potential to grow together with CPPIB in the long-term
- Take ownership, at cause and willing to work hard
- Good team player; can work under pressure
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written) in English and interpersonal skills: Fluent in English and conversational in Hindi
- Post-secondary education completed with a relevant degree or diploma
- Extremely motivated, eager to learn, adaptable and determined
- Able and willing to work flexible hours
- Proven attention to accuracy and detail, highly organized with the ability to problem solve, prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to work in a high performing culture, under pressure and with time-sensitive deadlines
- Easily liaises and interacts with all types of personalities and at all levels while maintaining professionalism
- Proven ability to work independently as well as to perform effectively in a team oriented environment
