Our client is an established and leading company in the shipping industry with offices worldwide. To support its growth ambitions they are further developing its internal IT department and looking to hire competent professionals in its office in India. We are supporting our client in hiring:
**Systems Administrator**

**Based in Andheri, Mumbai**

**ORGANIZATION**:Reporting to the IT Manager, you will be part of an international IT Support team responsible in supporting infrastructure, security, and new digital projects for the group.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Manage resolution of incidents and service request ensuring successful completion within the Service Level Agreement
- Maintain security, backup, and disaster recovery plans
- Support audit activities for security and compliance
- Provide support for local and cloud-based systems and infrastructure
- Proactively monitor infrastructure alerts and review actions required
- Reviewing common incidents performing analysis to identify root causes
- Determine solutions to address root causes proactively and land these changes across the team
- Project Management and Design Activities
- Participate in projects for onboarding new solutions or improvements within IT Operations
- Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of systems working with the internal development teams
- Collaborate across IT department to share knowledge and experience

**Requirements**:

- You have a Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or IT-related discipline
- Three years (3) experience as an IT Systems Administrator is a must
- Good experience in managing infrastructure across one or more of AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
- Solid technical and analytical skills to identity issues and suggest corrective long term measures
- Experience in managing Linux instances, Cloud computing, Meraki/Cisco firewalls is desired
- Experience with IT asset management and automation tools such as Endpoint Central is desired
- Strong skills in vendor management, project management teamwork, analysis and problem-solving
- Certification in MCSE, Office 365, AWS, Security or ITIL
- You have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about technology and innovation
