**In one sentence**:
This role will primarily focus on Vubiquity’s Dev Ops team and processes, which includes managing cloud environments, currently AWS and Azure.
Vubiquity licenses and delivers content to the major OTT providers, Netflix, Google, Amazon, iTunes, on behalf of major US studios, such as Warner Bros and MGM, as well as to individual client platforms across North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia.
The DevOps team are responsible for delivering and maintaining the cloud infrastructure related to Vubiquity’s Products and Solutions which provide these services.
The DevOps Manager bridges communication between all stakeholders and the Dev Ops team to align on priorities and delivery timelines. As well as working closely with the Engineering team to ensure a true Dev Ops culture is being applied across all teams, to achieve positive results for the business.
The DevOps Manager needs to set goals and measure team performance, as well as stay up to date with Dev Ops processes in order to effectively lead the Dev Ops team and culture within the organization.

**Role and Responsibilities**
- Lead DevOps process definition and drive implementation, including where required partnering with the Engineering team, adopt a continuous improvement methodology.
- Work with stakeholders to align on priorities and delivery timelines, ensuring progress is clearly communicated to stakeholders.
- Perform infrastructure design activities on Vubiquity’s solutions with Security, Architects and DevOps Expert.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure and working practices comply with security guidelines.
- Review implemented software solutions and components to ensure they meet with architectural design principles and security guidelines.
- Ensure documentation is relevant and kept up to date.
- Perform research and development against new technologies to ensure Vubiquity’s technical solutions and strategy remain current.
- Lead establishing metrics and goals for the DevOps team then track and report performance against specified metrics and goals.
- Manage the DevOps Team to ensure efficient and timely delivery of projects and support of existing solutions. Ensure clear roles and responsibilities within the team and ensure the team is appropriately resourced.
- Provide line management activities for the DevOps team, defining performance goals, providing guidance and mentoring, acting as an escalation point for any issues.
- Onboard new team members and ensure knowledge sharing occurs across the entire team.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all DevOps operational activities and ensure consistent customer communication and satisfaction regarding services (for both internal and external customers).

- Demonstrable experience of working with AWS and Azure cloud resources and tools.
- Demonstrable experience of managing a team including goal setting and performance management.
- Demonstrable experience of defining and implementing DevOps processes.
- Demonstrable experience of managing priorities and working with stakeholders.
- Thorough understanding of the software design and development lifecycle.
- Demonstrable experience of working with multiple vendors to deliver a complex solution.
- Understanding of security guidelines and practices.

**What will your job look like?**:

- Engineering - Design, develop, modify and integrate complex infrastructure automation and deployment systems; Responsible for ensuring that code and configuration are maintainable (IaaC), scalable and supportable; Use high level, extensive knowledge & expertise of the Amdocs product/solution and technologies to lead the direction of the infrastructure solution. Contribute with other teams to Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable software development methodology (such as design-led thinking, DevOps) and release processes. Lead system reliability and operability. Serve as an expert and evangelist on DevOps technologies.
- Investigation - Investigate infrastructure issues by reviewing/debugging CI/CD pipeline and runtime environments and providing fixes (analyze and fix bugs) and workarounds. Review changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions. Highlight risks and help mitigate them from technical aspects. Highest authority for resolving escalations.
- Technical Expertise - Serve as a highly specialized Technology / Product expert, acting with high autonomy to deliver agreed technical objectives. Provide technical expertise in terms of infrastructure architecture usage for functional and non-functional aspects; Obtain a strong technologies context understanding while making technical decisions and solving technical issues; Recognized as professional authority, work on significant and unique problems that have a high level of complexity.
