Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an Automotive Mechatronics Technician - Commissioning /

Diagnostic E-Buses and lighTram®. The technician will be responsible for commissioning and

diagnosing electrical buses and lighTram® vehicles. They will carry out day-to-day testing,

troubleshooting, and repair tasks, ensuring the vehicles meet the required specifications and

quality standards. The technician will also collaborate with the product development team to

provide feedback on improvements and support the production process.

ELECTRIC 24 V:
As a motivated assembly employee, you will wire and assemble versatile electrical components in

and on electric buses according to schematics. You will wire dashboards, heaters, and driver’s

cabs according to specifications and electrical schematics. You are therefore an important

professional in the electrification of our buses.

DIAGNOSIS & PREPARATION:
With your knowledge as an automotive mechatronics technician or automotive specialist with

experience in diagnostics, you are able to connect the prepared electrical components to the

systems in the bus in the department electrical 24 V. You will perform quality and function

checks, carry out calibrations and adjustments, and upload the software for the bus systems. With

your experience in diagnostics, you will be able to find and correct any errors.

TRACTION 600 V:
In the 600 V traction group, you will be dealing with high voltage. Our innovative electric buses

work with different charging systems. You are responsible for the assembly of all traction systems

in our electric buses. You will install and wire the traction components according to scheme

600/400V and the corresponding 24V control of the traction components. Furthermore, you are

responsible for the calibration and the adjustment of the current collectors.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in commissioning and diagnosing electrical vehicles
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems
- Knowledge of mechatronics and vehicle diagnostics
- Understanding of vehicle control systems
- Experience with electrical testing equipment and tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Relevant certification or diploma in Automotive Mechatronics or a related field
- Knowledge of E-Buses and lighTram® vehicles
- Language skills in English. German or French will be an added advantage
