**Company Description**

R. Harlalka & Co. is a 33+ years old firm, and we are currently seeking a Statutory Auditor to join our team and support our ongoing commitment to financial integrity and compliance.

**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for a Statutory Audit and Taxation Department, The primary duty will be is to **conduct an audit of the financial statement of the company**, which is an essential regulatory requirement to ensure that a company adheres to the financial norms and regulations set forth by the government.

3-4 years of relevant experience in Statutory, GST and Direct Tax matters, preferably in a Internal Auditor Role.

Strong understanding of Indian tax laws, including GST, Income Tax, and other indirect taxes, also Expertise in Statutory Audit and in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards.

**Experience**:Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in statutory and Tax Auditing.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage all aspects of Direct Tax (DT) and Indirect Tax (IDT) compliance.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other tax-related
- documents.
- Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to support decision-making and compliance.
- Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize tax efficiency and minimize liabilities.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and legal advisors on tax matters as
- necessary.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, communicating implications
- Provide tax advice and support to internal teams, including Finance, Legal, and
- Operations.
- Assist in tax audits and assessments, responding to inquiries and resolving issues effectively.

Maintain accurate tax records and documentation in compliance with statutory.
