Qliksense Reporting

**JOB DESCRIPTION** Job Responsibilities**
- Ensure all development in our QlikSense platform is in line with best practices, principals and standards as defined and in compliance with the firm’s data control standards
- Be able to present data and reports in a clear and concise manner allowing the Dashboard end users and senior leadership team to quickly understand the results and analytics to make data driven decisions
- Stay knowledgeable about emerging processes, technology, and best practices in data analytics and data science space. Continuously enhance skills through self-learning and participation in training and conferences.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and business app developers, to better align on requirements, operating model and processes and deliverables.
- Familiarize key CB/firmwide metrics and data elements by working with data domain partners to form a comprehensive view of data availability

In scope of the Dashboard Factory QlikSense format, specific responsibilities are outlined below:

- **Requirements Gathering**: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their business needs, data visualization and reporting requirements. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and data sources necessary for data analysis that help solve business problems.
- **Data Repository & Sourcing**: Source data only from standard single-source-of-truth sources in an optimized manner and store them in Qlik proprietary format. Review repository and review data consumption at regular intervals. Optimize SQL queries for Hadoop/AWS environments.
- **Data Analysis**: Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights. Develop meaningful metrics and visualizations that address business needs.
- **Documentation**: Document and maintain DRD, data model scripts, RO signoffs and V&E configurations for future reference and ISS compliance. Maintain documentation of operating model, best practices, and SOPs.
- **V&E and Data Security**: Implement data security measures and access controls to ensure data security and compliance through QlikSense section access. Adhere to data governance policies and procedures.

**Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities**
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- 8-11 years of experience as a QlikSense developer or in a similar role, working with Business Intelligence tools.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and techniques.
- Proficiency in Qlik Sense platform, including data modeling, scripting, and creating visualizations and dashboards.
- Solid understanding of Qlik scripting language with variables
- Good understanding of Set Analysis concept for writing UI expressions
- Ability to integrate data from various sources and perform data cleansing and transformation.
- Experience with QlikSense extensions and mashups is a plus.
- Knowledge of QlikSense server administration and security settings.
