With ServiceNow, we are establishing a Centre of Excellence (CoE) located in India (Pune and Bangalore), which will support our transformation priorities. ServiceNow is integral to the creation of digital workflows throughout the bank’s global operations and will help us simplify operations, empower employees, improve customer service, and bring innovation to market faster.

The ServiceNow platform is critically dependent on strong data architecture, governance, and operations to ensure a high performing and sustainable solution. Given the importance, we are recruiting several dedicated roles to ensure we maximise long term value from the ServiceNow platform.

The Data Architect is responsible for governing the execution of the data strategy and coordinating with the business divisions and/or infrastructure functions in executing their responsibilities in improving the quality of the data and any data quality remediation actions. They ensure that the banks data quality framework and/or the data quality frameworks within their domain are operational within the business divisions and/or infrastructure functions.

**The responsibilities include**:

- Document and own the Servicenow data model as implemented in Deutsche Bank, including all data flows into and out of the platform, and how data is consumed
- Work with engineering functions and project teams to ensure that data being imported or used on the platform has the right data design principles applied, to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of the data
- Build and maintain appropriate architecture artefacts including; Entity Relationship Models, Data dictionary, and taxonomy to aid data traceability
- Develop key performance measures for data integrations and quality assurance
- Assess changes to data models and flows, generated from ServiceNow platform enhancements, firm led projects or other external factors
- Identify opportunities, diagnose issues, recommend, and document solutions that deliver quality, flexibility or other improvements using best practice methodologies
- Building partnerships with other Foundational Platforms teams, such as product management and architecture, to understanding business outcomes and align teams to deliver

**Your skills and experience**
- Foundational understanding of the principles of and best practices behind data engineering
- Experience of architecting data solutions on ServiceNow would be advantageous, especially within the CMDB/CSDM and ITOM modules
- Excellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills
- Ability to work in global virtual teams and in matrix structures
- Graduate Degree from a university (or equivalent diploma / work experience)
