**Purpose of the Role**

1. Responsible for achieving the machine utilization as per plan

2. Responsible for preventive check points and reducing Downtime

3. Responsible for identifying Unsafe conditions at the plant and reporting to the superiors

4. Responsible for maintain the breakdown reports as per the requirement

5. Ensuring Safe working conditions

**Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- Responsible for driving and implementing TPM strategy, practices and procedures for governance on the set of maintenance activities within the department, to achieve manufacturing objectives
- Execute cost saving projects and record data to show ROI
- Identify opportunities for additional investment in TPM, which can benefit the organisation, and driving the initiatives to fruition
- Ensure internal customer satisfaction by improving efficiency and productivity in TPM and driving uninterrupted operations
- Support SIC in ensuring internal TPM processes alignment to best in class manufacturing requirements and facilitate continuous improvement to fulfil quality and on time delivery targets
- Undertake periodic preventive maintenance as per schedule
- Respond to breakdowns & diagnose faults
- Carry out repairing & servicing work
- Supervise engineering & technical persons for TPM
- Ensure adherence to ISO, EOHS norms
- Monitor spares & inventory
- Ensure compliance with health & safety legislation
- Ensure adherence to Business Excellence processes in all activities related to the maintenance section, through training, practicing, audits and corrective actions
- Analyse data and use novel techniques to identify areas for improvement within the unit and track and measure the impact of changes
- Collaborate with other departments and teams, assist the DIC to implement improvements in the TPM function
- Coordinate with the automation team to identify use cases and drive automation / process improvement initiatives within the BU and maintenance section,
- Suggest updation and use of the latest technologies and tools for all activities within maintenance section,
- Drive continuous learning and skilling of operators on soft and hard skills essential for the Maintenance section
- Track performance measures of the operators and individuals to consistently provide feedback and improve performance
- Train operator / technician to improve their skill set and ensure defect free products
