Restaurant Hostess

**Position**: Restaurant Hostess ( Only Females )
**Reports To**: Restaurant Manager

**Job Summary**:
The Restaurant Hostess serves as the first point of contact for guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued. This role involves managing reservations, seating arrangements, and providing excellent customer service to create a positive dining experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Greeting Guests**:

- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ensure all guests are attended to promptly.
- **Seating Management**:

- Manage seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
- Keep track of table availability and wait times.
- **Reservations Handling**:

- Take and manage reservations through phone calls or online systems.
- Confirm bookings and accommodate special requests when possible.
- **Customer Service**:

- Address guest inquiries and resolve minor complaints or escalate them to the manager.
- Provide information about menu items, restaurant policies, and services.
- **Coordination**:

- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Inform servers about any special guest requests or celebrations (e.g., birthdays, anniversary).
- **Maintaining Cleanliness**:

- Keep the hostess station and entrance area clean and organized.
- Ensure menus are clean and presentable.
- **Professional Appearance**:

- Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times.
- **Additional Duties**:

- Assist with administrative tasks, such as updating guest records or answering phone calls.
- Support other team members during peak hours.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
- **Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- **Appearance**: Neat and professional grooming.
