Finance Controller

**Woods Hospitality** is a premium hospitality brand in Valsad, Gujarat, offering luxurious stays, exceptional service, and memorable guest experiences. With a focus on sustainable operations and excellence in service, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Controller to lead and streamline our financial functions.

**Role Overview**:
The Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company’s hospitality operations, ensuring robust financial health, compliance, and strategic financial planning.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the property.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and profitability metrics.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Ensure compliance with statutory laws and corporate policies (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.).
- Coordinate and supervise audits (statutory, internal, and tax audits).
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management for cost control and revenue optimization.
- Establish and implement internal controls, SOPs, and financial policies for the hospitality unit.
- Review contracts, vendor payments, and capital expenditures for financial accuracy and control.
- Oversee inventory and asset management related to F&B, housekeeping, and operations.
- Collaborate with operations and department heads to align financial performance with business goals.
- Handle liaison with banks, financial institutions, and external stakeholders.

**Experience**:

- Minimum **5 years** of progressive experience in finance, preferably in **hospitality/hotel industry**.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, hospitality accounting practices, and Indian taxation.
- Proficient in **Tally, Excel**, and ERP systems; knowledge of hospitality software (like IDS, Opera, or similar) is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Based in or willing to relocate to **Valsad, Gujarat**.
- Hands-on approach with strong decision-making and team management abilities.
- Prior experience with pre-opening or resort financial management is a plus.

**Salary**: Commensurate with experience and industry standards
**Work Schedule**: 6 days a week
**Work Hours**: 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
