**Summary**

The Data Security Expert is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure and data security measures to protect the end-to-end platform and client data. The role involves developing security strategies, implementing security frameworks, ensuring compliance adherence, and handling security incidents effectively.

**Key Responsibilities Overall Responsibilities**

Develop and implement comprehensive data security frameworks following standards and best practices.

Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and weaknesses.
Collaborate with Cloud, IT, DevOps, Data Engineers, API Developers, and client security teams to understand requirements and implement security frameworks into workflows and systems.

**Technical Responsibilities**
Secure Azure cloud environments by implementing Azure IaaS solutions.

Set up and configure Azure services such as VNET, subnets, load balancers, and app gateways.

Ensure isolation between environments (Dev, Test, Prod). Implement NSGs, route tables, custom DNS, and private links.

Establish App Gateway WAF rules to manage inbound/outbound traffic.

Implement mechanisms to handle various security issues and scenarios.

Ensure the security of Azure services, including Key Vault and storage layers.

Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify threats and weaknesses. Use scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for security automation.

Ensure compliance with standards and regulations including GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.

Conduct penetration testing and system hardening to meet security and client expectations.

Document security policies, incidents, and remediation steps in detail.

Preferred Certification: Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer.
