**3. Key Objectives of the Job**
- Supports the implementation of research and evaluation projects by conducting literature reviews, developing measurement tools, collecting and analysing data, and supporting the development of project deliverables.

**4. Major Deliverables**
- The major responsibilities are:

- Conduct thorough literature reviews on development issues and write research reports.
- Conceptualize studies in line with the research focus of the organization.
- Conduct advanced qualitative analysis and basic quantitative analysis making use of available data.
- Perform field visits for data collection (such as conducting interviews/FGDs) as well as ensure good quality of data.
- Transcribe qualitative data gathered from interviews and prepare transcribed data for coding.
- Develop training modules and train the field investigators/staff collecting data on data collection procedures/protocols for evaluations/research studies.
- Develop and update study protocol manuals for data related activities and FGD and interview guides used in study.
- Undertake occasional research reviews to help identify gaps or scope new strands of work within areas of interest.
- Support the implementation of all kinds of evaluation studies.

**5. Job Challenge**
- To be able to reflect on field realities, challenges and movements specific to interventions on the issue of CSA and work towards mitigating concerns in a timely manner.

**6. Educational Qualification**
- Post-Graduation degree in Social Sciences, Development studies, Economics, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field.

**7. Desired Experience**
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience. working with the non-profit sector and on child issues will be an added advantage.

**8. Other desired attributes**
- Excellent desk analytical research skills, and experience in qualitative and quantitative research techniques
- Proven written and presentation skills in a range of formats (briefings, reports, summaries, blogs, research articles etc.)
- Proficient in data collection and analysis tools and Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Interest and ability to use emerging tech platforms for design of data collection for research and M&E
- Strong communication skills in Hindi and English.

**9. Language Proficiency**
- Fluency in English, Hindi and preferably Marathi.

**10. Location**
- Mumbai

**11. Salary range**
- 30000/- to 35000/- INR per month

3500/- per month (Travel reimbursement) +

2000/- per month (Therapeutic reimbursement) +

5000/- Annual Training reimbursement
