**Job summary**:
The Compliance Counsel will be an integral part of Ethics & Compliance team and provide advice on current regulatory compliance in the APAC region as well as enhance and create additional policies and processes to ensure an ongoing effective program compliant with local regulations.
**Job requirements**:
- Help manage an effective regulatory compliance program.
- Provide support to implement and manage compliance programs and controls, These will include programs to prevent or mitigate the risk of bribery and corruption, antitrust violations, and policy violations.
- Support and conduct investigations of potential misconduct in APAC, ensure appropriate fact-finding, protection of attorney-client privilege, document retention.
- Assist with the development and implementation of compliance related policies, including revisions to NetApp’s Code of Conduct, NetApp’s Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy, Whistleblower Policy, Gift and Entertainment Policy, Modern Slavery, and other policies.
- Provide compliance related trainings and communications, to ensure that all our employees in APAC are educated on the latest regulations and NetApp policies and processes.
- Help drive departmental initiatives, including the development of metrics to measure our effectiveness of our compliance programs and the use of technologies to increase efficiencies.
- Remain up to date with local regulations in the APAC region and update policies accordingly
**Education**:
Law degree and proven experience (7+ years) in assessing, creating, implementing and managing compliance programs for multi-national companies.
