We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Warehouse Intern to join our team in the retail industry. This internship offers hands-on experience in warehouse operations and logistics, providing an excellent opportunity for learning and professional growth in a fast-paced retail environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**: Assist in receiving, unpacking, sorting, and storing incoming merchandise in designated areas of the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and organization in inventory management systems.
- **Order Fulfillment**: Support the order fulfillment process by picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment to customers or retail stores, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in order processing.
- **Stock Replenishment**: Monitor stock levels and assist in restocking shelves, bins, and storage areas with merchandise as needed to maintain adequate inventory levels and minimize out-of-stock situations.
- **Quality Control**: Conduct quality inspections of incoming and outgoing merchandise to ensure compliance with quality standards, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or damages to the warehouse supervisor.
- **Warehouse Organization**: Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, including sweeping floors, removing debris, and organizing storage areas to optimize space and efficiency.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including proper handling of equipment, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and compliance with safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- **Documentation and Record Keeping**: Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation related to inventory, orders, shipments, and other warehouse activities using inventory management systems and software.

**Requirements**:

- Currently enrolled in a degree program or recent graduate with a focus on logistics, supply chain management, operations management, or related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physical tasks required for warehouse operations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with warehouse team members and other departments.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems or software preferred.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges in a dynamic and evolving retail environment.
