**What We Expect**
- **Advanced JavaScript Expertise**: Strong command over JavaScript fundamentals, object-oriented programming, and web concepts.
- **Proven Experience**: At least 4 years in frontend development with substantial experience in React.js, Next.js, and React Native, as well as familiarity with Node.js.
- **Quality and Ownership**: Adhere to high standards of code quality and best practices at Newton School. Take full ownership of products from concept through execution.
- **Curiosity and Initiative**: Dive deep into codebases and libraries. Set up projects from scratch and push boundaries.
- **Collaborative and Proactive**:Open to constructive feedback and equally proactive in sharing insights with peers. Lead by example.
- **Design Sensitivity**: A keen sense of UI/UX, with the ability to contribute meaningfully to performance and modularity in our dashboards. Ability to interface effectively with design teams.
- **Backend Understanding**: Solid understanding of backend interactions, particularly with multiple backend, and distributed systems, and experience with Django is a plus.

**Leadership and Team Management**
- **Leadership Skills**: Work and mentor frontend developers. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture. Drive technical excellence and innovation within the team.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Interface with backend teams, particularly those using Django, to ensure cohesive integration across the tech stack.
- **Collaboration with External Teams**: Payment gateway integration, data analytics tools, and video audio vendors are all important friends, we want you to lead these collaborations.

**You'll be a Great Fit If**:

- **JavaScript is Your Forte**: You excel in JavaScript and are proficient in React.js, Next.js, and React Native.
- **Leadership in Projects**: You have led multiple front-end projects, demonstrating scalability and modular design.
- **Full-Spectrum Development**: Capable of building systems from scratch and delivering them end-to-end.
- **Engagement with Teams**: Comfortable discussing and influencing product and design decisions through an engineering lens.
