- The purpose of this work package is to provide Material Planning support for an Aviation major - DRP Materials Planning Group_
- DRP Supply Planners will manage list of parts assigned to them within their Center of Excellence code. They will be responsible to support all aspects of planning functions such as monitoring requisitions to ensure placement by Sourcing, communicate and react to DRP schedule changes for their respective parts. Team member will need to ensure alignment of supply schedules to demand within Oracle APS._
- Responsibilities_
- Process requires the Planner to work with Sourcing Buyer/DRP Planners across multiple Partner Programs to complete the following tasks:_
- _Reviewing Exception messages for assigned parts and improve to maintain optimum inventory levels meeting the CSL_
- _Understanding Forecasting, MPS and order management processes_
- _Releasing the planned demand to requisition stage_
- _MTO/Dual deplete process_
- _Overlap management for onboarding the new supplier_
- _Workflow process by negotiating with upstream and downstream on material allocation_
- _Inventory optimization through push out process_
- _Supply schedule alignment as per S&OP cycle changes_
- _Late supply pull in’s based on Forecast and Sales order demand_
- _Cancellation of material not required for the supply chain_
- _E-mail queries from Forecasting, Master Scheduling, Sourcing and Fulfillment teams_
- _Effective collaboration with sourcing team for schedule alignments_
- _Order policy MOQ, Fixed days of supply, Fixed order quantity_
- _Reports and dashboard creation_
- _ERP knowledge and Analytical skill_
- _Strong Excel base skills_
- _Actions will be completed with daily use of available tools & IT Systems such as Impact (Sourcing), Advance Planning System (APS), PAB (Projected Available Balance Report) and Critical Material report in addition to others available reports to planners._

- Qualifications we seek in you_
- Minimum qualifications_
- _Freshers are eligible_
- _Any graduate degree/MBA or equivalent with a strong academic record_
- Preferred qualifications_
- _Working knowledge on MS-Office_
- _SCM certifications_
- _Any programming language/coding will be an added advantage ex: MS access_
- _Basic Knowledge about software tools like Spotfire, Tableau, Python_
- _Application knowledge - Oracle, Demantra, Mainframes_
- _Effective probing skills and analyzing / understanding skills_
- _Problem solving skills with customer centric approach Demonstrated proficiency with written English and with neutral English accent_
- _Strong attention to detail._
