**About the team**

We are the Global Infrastructure and Cloud services PostgreSQL database team. We manage a wide range of database support services such as setup, config, manage and support PostgreSQL databases on-prem and on-Cloud. Our team is supporting clients in North America and EMEA regions.

**What you will be doing**
- Work with Microsoft to design, manage and support High Availability, Reliability, Backup/Restore, GEO redundancy and Disaster Recovery scenarios
- Write or Tune SQL queries, review data model and structures and provide recommendation for database table structures.
- Write KQL queries, Query store, Intelligent tuning, and query stats, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views. Identify potential issues in database and SQL issues to solve them early.
- Setup and perform Backup/restore/recovery. Setup Read Replica, perform failover and failback PostgreSQL between zones and regions.
- Plan and coordinate with Microsoft for data backups, DR restore/recovery and setup vendor escalation procedures.
- Troubleshot and fix database and SQL performance slowness
- Provide 24 x 7 operation and on-call production support

- Must have deep knowledge and 7+ years of hands-on cloud infrastructure support in PostgreSQL Azure and AWS handling Availability, Reliability, Backup/Restore, GEO redundancy and Disaster Recovery scenarios.
