**Funktionsziel**:
The Subject Matter Expert for Master Data (Business Partner) is responsible for defining, managing, and optimizing the organization’s master data frameworks related to business partner data (e.g., customers, vendors, HCPs, and organizations). This role ensures the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of master data across systems by driving best practices in data management and governance, focusing on regulatory compliance and operational excellence. In collaboration with cross-functional teams, the SME will design scalable processes, support seamless data integration, and enable efficient decision-making through high-quality business partner data.

**Task**:

- Establish and implement governance frameworks specific to business partner master data—enabling consistent, quality, and compliant management of customer, supplier, and partner data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, data science, clinical, and operational) to define and maintain data dictionaries, metadata, and data lineage documentation.
- Monitor and manage data quality initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and driving remediation efforts across research, clinical, and operational systems.
- Lead periodic data quality reviews and monitor KPIs to identify anomalies, recommend remediations, and resolve systemic issues impacting business partner data.
- Maintain oversight of sensitive business partner data, ensuring compliance with global privacy, financial, and contractual regulations in every jurisdiction.

- Stay current with emerging data governance frameworks, technologies, and methodologies, recommending innovative solutions to enhance data governance effectiveness.

Qualification
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in data governance, preferably within the life sciences or pharmaceutical industries.

Strong familiarity with regulatory requirements (FDA, EMA, HIPAA) and knowledge of GxP-compliant systems or similar controlled environments.

Additional information
- Proven ability to design and operationalize data governance frameworks that meet strict regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying and remediating data quality issues and governance gaps.
- Deep understanding of data lineage, metadata management, and data stewardship practices.

Excellent communication skills to engage with cross-functional teams and effectively present governance strategies and policies to diverse stakeholders.
