Packaging: The Despatch Associate is responsible for ensuring that products are properly packaged according to established standards and customer requirements. This includes selecting the appropriate packaging materials, assembling the packaging, and ensuring that the products are packed securely to prevent damage during transit.

Labeling: The Despatch Associate ensures that all products are accurately labeled with the correct shipping information, including product names, quantities, and destination addresses. This may involve printing labels, affixing them to packaging, or using electronic labeling systems.

Inventory Management: The Despatch Associate manages the inventory of packaging materials, such as boxes, tape, labels, and other packing supplies. This includes maintaining an accurate record of inventory levels, reordering materials as needed, and organizing the storage area for efficient access to packaging materials.

Shipping Coordination: The Despatch Associate collaborates with other departments, such as production, warehouse, and logistics, to coordinate shipping schedules and ensure that products are shipped in a timely manner. This may involve preparing shipping documents, scheduling pickups with carriers, and tracking shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

Quality Assurance: The Despatch Associate conducts quality checks on packaged products to ensure that they meet established quality standards, including checking for product accuracy, labeling accuracy, and packaging integrity. Any discrepancies or issues are promptly reported to the appropriate personnel for resolution.

Safety and Compliance: The Despatch Associate follows all safety protocols and regulations in the packaging and shipping processes, including handling hazardous materials safely, operating packaging equipment properly, and adhering to shipping regulations and requirements.

Record Keeping: The Despatch Associate maintains accurate records of all packaged products, shipping documents, and other relevant information. This includes updating databases, generating reports, and maintaining documentation for auditing purposes.
