**Education **- Must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline
**Qualification **
- Minimum 3-5 years in a purchase function/role.
- Advance knowledge of excel, Pivot, and V-Lookup will add an advantage.
- Fluently in Hindi, English and Marathi.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of ERP system.
**Responsibilities**
- Evaluate potential vendors and suppliers.
- Request quotations & compare prices with technical comparative charts.
- Negotiate the price of material to be purchased.
- Prepare purchase order against material or equipment.
- Track incoming inventory, delivery arrival time, and note actual arrival time.
- Ensure that all invoices are sent to accounts for payment.
- Deal with non - supplied, under orders, over orders and damaged material.
- Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
- Control purchasing department budgets.
- Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future material availability.
- Create and maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers.
- Vendor visit twice a week for purchase of material against indent list.
**Preferred Skills**
- Knowledge of stores functioning, ABC analysis & ERP system.
- Knowledge of taxes applicable on purchase/contracts
- Knowledge of GST from credit point of view.
- Knowledge of import will be added advantage.
**Personal Attributes**
- Self-motivated, outgoing personality, who is able to work independently, without supervision.
- Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
- Clear and concise communicator with the ability to take quick decision.
