**TASKS**:

- Perform detailed electrical design for Battery Energy Storage System projects. Design, analyze and prepare project deliverables for battery and inverter systems, substations, power distribution systems, lighting & grounding systems, and other electrical systems as required by each project. Provide technical support for design/engineering, fabrication and construction. Be able to perform as a task or overall project design lead if required.
- Create design guidelines for Electrical design team
- Create quality checklists, and design quality process to enhance and ensure the quality of electrical design deliverables.
- Lead and execute the electrical design scope for projects in different phases (FEED, Detail Engineering)
- o One-line diagrams
- o Block diagrams
- o Electrical building and equipment layouts
- o Cable schedule
- o Interconnection and wiring diagrams
- o Bills of Material
- o Cable tray layouts
- o Cable routing layout
- o UG/AG routing layouts
- o Lighting layout
- o Lighting design calculations
- o Grounding Layouts
- Use 3D modelling tools as required to model the electrical equipment, cable trays, and other components to ensure the design is clash free, as well as the constructability of the design.
- Support Project Development and Coordination, including (but not limited to) the following:

- o Identify and prepare design list of deliverables based on the scope of work.
- o Coordinate with other disciplines and BoP Contractors to finalize the design.
- o Function as electrical design project lead or electrical task lead if required.
- o Report to and coordinate with lead engineer for assigned tasks.
- o Assist electrical designers and coordinate with electrical engineers on assigned tasks.
- o Maintain close coordination with other discipline designers and engineers.
- o Carefully evaluate, communicate and manage change with full awareness of project impact.
- Provide support of vendor and BoP packages, including (but not limited to) the following:

- o Perform design review of supplier documents for electrical and non-electrical packages (as required)
- o Perform design review of BoP documents for electrical and other discipline drawings (as applicable)
- Construction Site Support Experience, including (but not limited to) the following:

- o Provide technical design support to Construction personnel.
- o Provide support to resolve design technical issues and coordinate with lead engineer, BoP contractor, and other disciplines as needed to resolve site issues.
- o Provide technical assistance for pre-commissioning, energization, commissioning and start-up, as required by project.
- Support senior and younger designers and help them to reach the next level
- Executing tasks related to Fluence’ safety KPIs
- Travel throughout EMEA

**SKILL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum of 10 years of relevant detailed electrical design experience with design of power systems for utility installations, oil and gas, industrial plants, PV plants, Battery Storage Systems or similar in the EMEA region
- Strong experience in executing FEED, Detail Engineering as well as EPC projects.
