Turbine Operator

**Job Responsibility**

The scope of Work of this Specification includes Operation of the Turbo Blowers/ Steam Turbine & its associated auxiliaries in a safe and integrated manner as per the O&M manual for a period of two years in power and blowing station.

The scope of work broadly includes the following.

Starting and shutdown of the Turbo Blowers/ Turbines in a safe & sequential manner

through DCS as per the recommendation of OEMs in O&M manual to meet

the Cold Blast Requirement of the Blast Furnace.
- Continuous and parallel operation of Turbo Blowers/ Turbines along with all auxiliaries

through DCS for meeting the Cold Blast Air requirement of the Blast Furnace.
- Running of the Turbo Blowers/ Turbines & its auxiliaries during testing & commissioning

and as and when instructed by NMDC/ MECON.
- Prior to starting, it is to be ensured that all the pre checks as per the O&M

manual have been done.
- Maintaining the Turbo Blower/ Turbines operation report.
- Regular Maintenance checks as per the O&M manual are to be carried out

and proper record is to be maintained. List of spares and consumables as and

when required for the timely maintenance is also to be submitted to

NMDC/MECON well in advance.
- Any abnormalities observed during operation or regular checks are to be

immediately brought to the notice of the Engineer-in-charge of NMDC/MECON.

viii. Ensuring the availability of all the equipment and the total system within the scope.

**Skills**

1. Proficient in MS Excel.

3. Proficient in reading engineering drawings.

4. Strong in Managerial skills.

5. Good in written skills.

**Education**

1. B.Tech (Mechanical)

**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month

- Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- total work: 5 years (preferred)
