**Key Responsibilities**
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Analyze and improve custody processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Work with global banking clients to understand their custody business needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct data analysis, risk assessment, and impact analysis for custody services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, risk, compliance, and IT to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Ensure that all custody-related solutions are aligned with global best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the design, testing, and implementation of new systems, workflows, and processes within custody operations.
- Support post-implementation review and continuous improvements in custody services.

**Mandatory Skills & Experience**
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a **Business Analyst** in the capital markets sector with a focus on the **custody business**.
- **Experience working in a global bank** handling custody services such as safekeeping, settlement, and corporate actions.
- Strong understanding of the custody business model, including operations, technology, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to define and document complex business requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of market infrastructures, custody chains, and regulatory frameworks that impact global custody businesses.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships across multiple geographies and time zones.

**Desired Skills**
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams in a global bank environment.
- Proficiency in business process modeling and business analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present and influence at various levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of financial products and services in capital markets beyond custody, such as trading, risk management, and regulatory reporting.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the custody business within global banking institutions.
- Professional certifications such as **CFA, FRM, or Business Analysis Certifications** are an added advantage.
