**POSITION**

**Overview**

Egan-Jones Ratings Company is seeking a full-time, experienced contractor to assist the Compliance Department with developing and implementing internal controls pertaining to NRSRO credit rating agency regulation. The individual will also be accountable for helping to evaluate internal controls and formulate corrective action plans, and to drive timely remediation where internal control deficiencies are identified.
- Reports to the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer
- Evaluates existing internal controls with a view toward identifying enhancement opportunities
- Performs and documents reviews of compliance-related internal controls
- Makes recommendations to help Egan-Jones staff enhance adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations
- Drives needed change in the organization
- Assists DCO in various tasks to fulfill regulatory requirements

**EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES**
- Experience developing policies, procedures, and/or systems-based internal controls
- Experience evaluating internal controls
- Experience with internal control testing methodologies
- Experience developing / driving implementation of corrective action plans where deficiencies are identified
- Compliance, Audit, Internal Controls and/or Risk Management experience required
- Ability to communicate complex issues and drive needed change
- Ability to mix firmness with diplomacy
- Independent thought process and highest level of integrity
- Experience interacting with regulators helpful
- Experience presenting to senior management helpful
- Articulate and compelling written and verbal communication skills
- Undergraduate degree required, preferably in finance, economics, or related area

Pay: ₹4,100,000.00 - ₹4,176,625.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
