**Experience Required**: Minimum 2 years in HIPAA compliance or related healthcare regulatory roles

**Job Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop, implement, and maintain HIPAA compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify compliance gaps.
- Provide HIPAA training to employees and ensure awareness of compliance requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HIPAA-related inquiries and incidents.
- Investigate and report data breaches or compliance violations, ensuring timely remediation.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure technical safeguards (encryption, access controls, etc.) meet HIPAA standards.
- Stay updated on changes in healthcare regulations and adjust compliance programs accordingly.
- Work with external auditors and legal teams during compliance reviews.

**Qualifications & Skills**
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in HIPAA compliance (healthcare, healthtech, or related fields).
- Strong understanding of HIPAA Privacy & Security Rules, HITECH Act, and other healthcare regulations.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and employee training.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting (EST time zone preferred).

Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory)
- Certified HIPAA Professional (CHP)
- Certified in Healthcare Privacy and Security (CHPS)
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6-12 months

Pay: ₹266,019.24 - ₹1,009,960.65 per year
