**Student Counsellor Responsibilities**:

- Listening to students' academic, emotional, social, and behavioral concerns in an open and non-judgmental way.
- Advise students about what courses and educational programs they need for particular careers
- Counsel clients who are considering a career change
- Evaluate clients' educational and work backgrounds in order to help them determine what they need to do next to achieve their goals
- Help clients select the right schools or programs for their needs
- Help students locate sources of financial support to pay for school and other training programs
- Working directly with students to develop solutions and set achievable goals.
- Providing one-on-one career guidance and skills assessment to assist with career development.
- Developing, monitoring, and assisting with counselling programs.

**Student Counsellor Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or associate's degree in counselling.
- Minimum of 2 years professional counselling experience, preferably in an educational field.
- Knowledge of placement testing and career, personal, and educational assessment.
- Experience with counselling principles, techniques, and practices as applied to students' problems and developmental needs.
- Excellent active listening and communication skills.
- Patient, friendly, and accommodating personality.
- Social perceptiveness and an understanding of body language.
- Excellent interpersonal and mediation skills.

**Salary**: ₹15,086.00 - ₹29,363.17 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Himayatnagar, Hyderabad - 500029, Telangana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:
