- 5 to 7 years or more years of Information Technology (IT) experience
- Operating Systems/Platforms (Both Required)
- Knowledge of RedHat Linux 6+ Administration.
- Knowledge of Server OS: 2012+ Administration.
- Basic knowledge and working years of experience in PowerShell.
- Proficiency in administering SolarWinds products and modules, such as SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM), Server & Application Monitor (SAM), Database Performance Analyzer (DPA), and others.
- Able to install, configure, and administer SolarWinds components including Network Performance Monitor (NPM), NCM (Network Configuration Manager), and NTA (Network Traffic Analyzer )
- Experience configuring monitors using SNMP, SSH, WinRM, WMI, and Creation of Auto Incident tickets from ServiceNow & SolarWinds.
- Set up monitoring policies and thresholds, monitor network and system performance, and configure alerts and notifications to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Investigate and troubleshoot any issues or incidents related to SolarWinds infrastructure and resolve them promptly.
- Implement security best practices, including access controls, authentication mechanisms, and encryption, to protect the SolarWinds infrastructure and ensure.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, architectures, and IT infrastructure components, including servers, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to network and system performance using SolarWinds tools and other diagnostic techniques.
