**Job Title**: Public Area Attendant

**Department**: Housekeeping
**Reports To**: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper
**Supervises**: None

**Job Summary**:
The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and appearance of all public areas in the hotel, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, restaurants, and other guest-accessible spaces. This role ensures a welcoming and clean environment for all guests and visitors.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Clean and maintain hotel public areas such as lobbies, restrooms, elevators, corridors, lounges, restaurants, and banquet halls.
- Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish furniture and floors as required.
- Restock supplies in public restrooms (e.g., tissue, soap, hand sanitizer).
- Empty trash bins and handle waste disposal safely and hygienically.
- Spot-clean carpets, glass surfaces, and high-touch areas regularly.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or spills in public areas.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or suspicious activity to supervisors.
- Maintain housekeeping carts and ensure proper storage of supplies.
- Follow cleaning schedules and hotel SOPs for public area upkeep.
- Greet guests courteously and offer assistance when appropriate.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in a housekeeping or janitorial role.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, materials, and equipment.
- Ability to work on foot for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
- Attention to detail and awareness of safety and hygiene standards.
- Reliable, punctual, and presentable.
- Basic communication skills; ability to follow instructions.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
