**Job Title**: Housekeeping Assistant

**Department**: Housekeeping
**Reports To**: Housekeeping Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper
**Supervises**: None

**Job Summary**:
The Housekeeping Assistant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness of guest rooms, public areas, and service areas in accordance with the hotel’s standards. The role plays a key part in ensuring a pleasant and comfortable experience for all guests.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Clean and service guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas as assigned.
- Change linens, make beds, dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and sanitize bathrooms.
- Replenish room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and minibar items.
- Report any maintenance issues, room damage, or lost & found items to the supervisor.
- Follow proper cleaning procedures and hotel safety guidelines at all times.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently.
- Assist with deep cleaning tasks and seasonal projects when required.
- Maintain cleaning carts, equipment, and storage areas in a tidy and safe condition.
- Greet guests politely when encountered and respond to basic service requests.
- Follow departmental checklists and complete room status reports accurately.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Housekeeping experience; prior hotel experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and guest service etiquette.
- Physically fit and able to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift.
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Basic understanding of English for communication and reporting.
- Honest, punctual, and a team player.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
