**Role description**:
Job location : Bangalore

Notice Period : Immediate -15 days

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **PL/SQL Development**:

- Develop and maintain complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
- Debug, optimize, and document existing PL/SQL code for high performance and reliability.
- **Cloud Database Management**:

- Work with cloud database platforms like **Amazon RDS**, **Azure SQL**, and **Google Cloud SQL**.
- Administer and maintain databases in cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
- **Database Migration**:

- Plan and execute database migration strategies to cloud platforms with mínimal downtime.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency during migrations.
- **Performance Tuning**:

- Optimize database queries, indexing, and partitioning to enhance system performance.
- Monitor and analyze database performance metrics to identify and resolve bottlenecks.
- **Automation**:

- Utilize automation tools and scripts to streamline database deployment, monitoring, and management.
- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery automation for cloud databases.
- **Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge**:

- Leverage expertise in **AWS**, **Azure**, or **Google Cloud Platform (GCP)** services to support database operations.
- Ensure adherence to cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work closely with developers, infrastructure engineers, and other stakeholders to design and implement database solutions.
- Provide guidance on database best practices and cloud adoption strategies.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in PL/SQL development and cloud database management.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong proficiency in **PL/SQL development** and database design principles.
- Hands-on experience with **Amazon RDS**, **Azure SQL**, or **Google Cloud SQL**.
- In-depth understanding of cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven track record in **performance tuning**, query optimization, and indexing.
- Familiarity with database automation tools and scripting languages.
