**About the Role**

We are looking for a meticulous and dependable individual with a strong background in accounts and finance to join our remote finance team. FCI London is one of the UK’s largest and most reputable designer furniture and lifestyle houses, boasting nearly 35 years of experience in the luxury interiors sector. We collaborate with some of the world’s most prestigious brands and are involved in high-end residential and commercial projects worldwide.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting functions
- Manage accounts payable and receivable including month end supplier statement reconciliations
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements
- Support monthly and year-end closing processes
- Conduct monthly analytical reviews of actuals vs. budget, reporting findings to the leadership team
- Assist with and process monthly payroll
- Generate financial reports as required
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Collaborate with other departments to address finance-related queries
- Evaluate financial processes and suggest improvements for enhanced efficiency
- Manage junior team members
- Provide assistance with ad-hoc administrative tasks

**Qualifications & Skills**
- At least 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
- Hands-on experience with Xero (preferred) or similar accounting software
- Comfortable working remotely with a stable internet connection and personal computer/laptop
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, etc.)
- Comfortable with using technology to assist in performing their role more efficiently
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
