The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing the financial activities of the FMCG shop, including invoicing, payments, expense tracking, and financial reporting. **Key Responsibilities**:
- **Invoicing & Billing**: Generate, verify, and process sales invoices, receipts, and credit notes for all transactions.
- **Accounts Payable & Receivable**: Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing payments, ensuring timely payment collection from customers and suppliers.
- **Cash Management**: Handle daily cash flow, bank deposits, and reconcile cash register discrepancies.
- **Expense Tracking**: Maintain records of shop expenses, including inventory purchases, utilities, salaries, and other operational costs.
- **Bank Reconciliation**: Regularly reconcile bank statements with the shop's financial records to ensure accuracy.
- **Inventory Accounting**: Coordinate with the inventory management team to track stock levels and ensure accurate valuation of goods.
- **Tax Compliance**: Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and prepare tax returns, VAT filings, and other necessary documentation.
- **Financial Reporting**: Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for management review.
- **Audit Preparation**: Assist in the preparation and coordination of external and internal audits.
- **Vendor & Supplier Management**: Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring accurate billing, payments, and adherence to credit terms.
- **Data Entry & Record Keeping**: Maintain updated and organized accounting records in both physical and digital formats, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)**:
- Accuracy and timeliness in processing payments and invoices.
- Efficiency in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Accuracy of financial reports and statements.
- Reduction in discrepancies between cash registers and bank records.
- Compliance with tax regulations and deadlines.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a retail or FMCG environment.
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
