**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate Vertical Machining Centres (VMCs) as per production requirements.
- Create and optimize CNC programs using CAM software based on engineering drawings and models.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials.
- Conduct first-piece inspection and make necessary adjustments to ensure dimensional accuracy.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to review and improve machining processes.
- Maintain and troubleshoot VMC machines and tooling issues to minimize downtime.
- Interpret technical drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications accurately.
- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of programs, setup sheets, and tooling lists.
- Follow safety and quality standards strictly during all machining operations.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Production Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in VMC setting and CAM programming.
- Proficient in CAM software such as Mastercam or similar.
- Strong knowledge of CNC codes (G & M codes), toolpath strategies, and machining parameters.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
- Familiarity with different types of materials like aluminum, steel, stainless steel, etc.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in precision machining, mold/die making, or aerospace components.
- Familiarity with ISO quality systems and documentation practices.
- Basic knowledge of CNC machine maintenance and quality inspection tools.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
