**Position Summary**: The Psychometrician will play a pivotal role in the development, validation, and implementation of assessment tools and measurement strategies. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and validity of our assessments, contributing to the overall success of our products and services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, and validate psychometric assessments, including tests, surveys, and questionnaires.
- Conduct statistical analyses to evaluate the reliability and validity of assessment tools.
- Implement best practices in psychometric analysis and data collection methodologies.
- Provide expertise in item response theory (IRT), classical test theory (CTT), and other relevant psychometric models.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to the psychometric properties of assessment tools.
- Analyze and interpret data to inform decision-making and improve assessment processes.
- Stay current with advancements in psychometric research and incorporate new methodologies as appropriate.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and consultations.

**Qualifications**:

- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychometrics, Educational Measurement, Psychology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in psychometric analysis and assessment development.
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, SPSS, SAS) and psychometric tools.
- Strong understanding of item response theory (IRT), classical test theory (CTT), and other psychometric models.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Experience in project management and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in the [specific industry, e.g., educational testing, healthcare assessments, corporate training] sector.
- Familiarity with computerized adaptive testing (CAT) and technology-enhanced assessment methods.
- Experience with large-scale assessment programs and data analysis.
