We need female pre-primary teachers.
Key Roles and Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:1. **Curriculum Delivery and Instruction**
- **Plan and Prepare Lessons**: Design engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of the students.
- **Differentiate Instruction**: Tailor teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and abilities (e.g., visual, auditory, kinesthetic learners, special needs students, etc.).
- **Use Teaching Aids and Resources**: Utilize various teaching tools and resources, including books, educational software, videos, and hands-on activities, to enhance learning.
2. **Assessment and Evaluation**
- **Monitor Student Progress**: Continuously assess students’ academic progress through quizzes, tests, projects, and assignments.
- **Provide Feedback**: Offer constructive feedback to students on their work and behavior, helping them understand areas of strength and areas for improvement.
- **Maintain Records**: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of student performance, attendance, and behaviour, which may be used for parent-teacher meetings, reports, and official assessments.
- **Conduct Formative and Summative Assessments**: Use a variety of assessment methods (formative, summative, informal) to measure students’ understanding and mastery of the material.
3. **Classroom Management**
- **Create a Positive Learning Environment**: Establish a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages students to be curious, engaged, and respectful.
- **Discipline and Behavior Management**: Implement consistent, fair, and positive classroom management strategies to address behavioral issues, ensuring students follow school rules and norms.
- **Promote Social Skills**: Foster teamwork, cooperation, and positive interactions among students, teaching them essential social and emotional skills.
- **Encourage Positive Behavior**: Recognize and reward good behaviour, effort, and achievements, contributing to a positive classroom atmosphere.
4. **Student Support and Pastoral Care**
- **Provide Emotional Support**: Recognize and respond to the emotional and social needs of students, offering encouragement and support when needed.
- **Identify Learning Challenges**: Identify early signs of learning difficulties, behavioral challenges, or developmental delays, and work with special education staff or other professionals to provide appropriate support.
- **Ensure Student Well-being**: Be attentive to the overall well-being of students, including their physical health, safety, and emotional development.
- **Promote Self-confidence**: Help students build self-esteem, resilience, and a love for learning through positive reinforcement and encouragement.
5. **Communication and Collaboration**
- **Collaborate with Colleagues**: Work closely with other teachers, special education professionals, and staff to share best practices, discuss student progress, and plan cross-curricular activities.
- **Participate in Staff Meetings**: Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events to enhance personal and professional growth.
- **Work with Support Staff**: Collaborate with teaching assistants, counsellors, and other support staff to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
6. **Behavioral and Social Development**
- **Teach Social and Life Skills**: Help students develop social skills like sharing, turn-taking, empathy, and conflict resolution.
- **Model Positive Behaviors**: Demonstrate positive behavior, effective communication, and problem-solving strategies for students to imitate.
- **Foster Inclusivity and Respect**: Create an inclusive classroom that respects diversity and encourages students to embrace differences.
7. **Professional Development**
- **Engage in Continuous Learning**: Stay current with new teaching methods, educational technologies, and updates in curriculum standards through workshops, courses, and self-directed learning.
- **Reflect on Teaching Practice**: Regularly assess and reflect on personal teaching strategies to identify areas for improvement and develop better practices.
- **Collaborate with Educational Authorities**: Work with school leadership to align teaching practices with school policies, educational standards, and curriculum frameworks.
8. **Organizing Extracurricular Activities**
- **Support Co-curricular Activities**: Help plan and oversee extracurricular activities such as school events, field trips, sports, or after-school programs that enhance the learning experience.
- **Encourage Student Participation**: Motivate students to participate in a range of activities that develop their talents and interests beyond academics.
9. **Adaptability and Flexibility**
- **Adjust Teaching to Student Needs**: Modify lesson plans and teaching styles in response to the changing needs of the students, whether they are excelling
